Parramasala 2020, the largest celebration of cultural diversity in NSW

Parramasala returns in 2020 for a three-day extravaganza of dance, music, art, food and family fun in the heart of Parramatta. More than 35,000 visitors are expected to head to Prince Alfred Square between 13th - 15th March to experience. a dynamic daily line-up of cutting-edge live music; vivid dance; kids’ workshops; culinary delights; and a breathtaking parade of colour and costumes.

Now in its 10th year, Parramasala is a world-class celebration of a broad range of cultures including South American, Middle Eastern, Indigenous Australian and South East Asian.

ABOUT PARRAMASALA

Parramasala is one of the largest multicultural festivals in NSW. The City of Parramatta is a vibrant arts and entertainment hub that features music, dance, theatre, comedy, film, markets and visual arts from around the world. Parramasala captures this wealth and folds it into a unique cultural event.

Parramasala Limited delivers the annual Parramasala Festival and is jointly owned by Multicultural NSW and City of Parramatta Council. Parramasala plays an important role in Parramatta through celebrating and showcasing cultural richness and vibrancy, and building harmony across the communities of Western Sydney.
