Things to do in Sydney | Attend Carols in the Domain
Global super-star Tina Arena to light up Christmas at Woolworths Carols in the Domain - Australia’s largest free Christmas concert held in Sydney each year.
One of Australia’s finest voices, recently voted by her Australian musical peers and the public as the greatest Australian female singer of all time, is set to take to the stage at this year’s Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
World-renowned performer Tina Arena is the latest star to be confirmed to perform at Australia’s largest free Christmas concert.
This will be Tina’s first appearance at Carols since her show-stopping performance in 2007 and the
Paris-based singer said she was looking forward to returning to the stage at the iconic event.
“I have magical memories of my last time singing at Carols and I’m really looking forward to doing it again. The crowd is always so warm and responsive, it’s a g reat stage to perform on.
“It is so wonderful to be home in Australia and to have the opportunity to share in the festivities of Carols, an event which is a highlight in the Christmas celebrations for so many families across the country.”
Tina Arena is also poised to challenge Cosentino and Rhiannon Fish next week for the prized Dancing with the Stars mirror ball trophy and season 13 championship title following another perfect score for her Paso Doble with dancing partner Damian on Tuesday night.
The ever-popular Carols event, which will be held this year on 21 December, is set to deliver another star-studded line-up, including Jimmy Barnes, The Wiggles and this year’s Ambassadors Samantha Jade and Johnny Ruffo.
For those who can't make it to the Domain, you can watch the event live on the Seven Network from 8.30pm or listen to the simulcast on smoothfm in Melbourne and Sydney.
Woolworths Carols in the Domain is proudly presented by Air Wick and will be staged on Saturday 21 December at The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.
