High Tea in May at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park

One of the things I like to do when catching up with my sister-in-law is to have high tea! So when Pullman Sydney Hyde Park kindly invited me down to try High Tea in May, I quickly booked in a time with Mayu, and today we enjoyed a great two hour catch up over a very generous and delightfully tasty High Tea.

I'm a big fan of the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park as I've attended many functions at this fabulous hotel, and over the years have gotten to know many of the friendly staff. I also love how the Pullman faces Hyde Park so the view from Cafe Thirty6 is beautiful.

During the weekend in May, guests can book in for High Tea and enjoy a sumptuous feast! Since it is Mother's Day this weekend you could give mum a great treat by shouting her High Tea.

The High Tea includes:

Savoury:

  • Chicken & vegetable ragout filo

  • Croquette manchego cheese and corn

Sweets:

  • Freshly baked fruit scones, strawberry jam & vanilla bean cream

  • Polenta and passionfruit babycake

  • Salted dulche de leche caramel and chocolate tartlet

  • Signature Cromuff

  • Lemon meringue baby

Fingers:

  • Smoked chicken, celery, apple and walnut ribbon

  • Roast beef, Moroccan, mabutcha, arugula, cucumber

  • Smoke salmon triple stack, baby capers, cream cheese, brioche

Tea:

  • Green tea, marigold, jasmine and gold amaranth

  • Black tea, globe amaranth, red lily, jasmine chocolate

  • Green tea, red lily, jasmine and peach (fruit tea)

  • White tea, lavender and hibiscus (rosella) rose (herbal)

PLUS: Glass of Taittinger champagne on the $59 package otherwise $49 without the champagne.

Totally delicious, I couldn't eat everything there is so much on offer so my advice - make sure you go on an empty stomach.
