I recently attended the Finale of ShareSpace, and despite feeling like the oldest person in the room I really enjoyed watching the performers. Personally, I think the talent in the room was outstanding, but there can only be one winner, so congratulations to Tayla Mae,
Tayla Mae is a Queensland based singer who has become the crowned winner of the web based reality series, ShareSpace. Apart from winning the title, Tayla has won a recording contract with Sony Music and a global song writing experience.
ShareSpace was a web series that saw Tayla Mae and runner up Take Two holed up in a warehouse for 30 days with fellow hopefuls Tai, Damielou, Jessica Jade, Hannah Waddell and Zachary Staines. The contestants were put through a creative boot-camp during which they honed their songwriting, recording, performance and marketing skills, with the results scrutinised by fans on social media
The winner was the person who received the most overall engagement from their social channels, including, Youtube and Spotify
It was great to see so many supporters at the Finale which was held at the Entertainment Quarter.
