Jeans for Genes Day with Celebrities Galore!

Hard to believe this - Jeans for Genes celebrates 21 years! This year the organisation has arranged to celebrate with a celebrity Denim Exhibition.

There will be a celebrity jeans exhibition on Saturday 12th July and everyone is welcome. There is only one day where you can have the opportunity to rub denim with international stars including Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Adam Sandler and Kim Kardashian.

The Jeans for Genes Denim Exhibition will give the public a chance to view an exclusive selection of denim artwork and personally signed jeans donated by international and Australian celebrities such as James Franco, The Kardashians, Eric Bana, Gene Simmons, Maroon 5 and more.

Jeans for Genes raises funds for Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI); generations of Australians have grown up with Jeans for Genes, which began with the simple idea of wearing jeans and making a gold coin donation to help find cures for sick children nationwide

Among the exhibit will be a unique piece of artwork featuring jeans donated by Anthony Kiedes from Red Hot Chilli Peppers by Australian artist Kathrin Longhurst.

Later in the year celebrity jeans on display will be auctioned at a Jeans for Genes Gala event where they’ll fetch up to $25,000 dollars.

There will be an opportunity for the public to make a donation or purchase limited edition merchandise during the free exhibition.

Jeans for Genes Day will take place on August 1st.
