It was a fabulous evening when Kazbah officially launched in Potts Point recently. I had not expected the venue to be so vast and mysterious. With a number of rooms for dining, events or just chilling at the bar, this venue is sure to become one of the Potts Point icons and the place to be seen.

KAZBAH POTTS POINT

Kazbah Souk Potts Point is located in Bayswater Road and almost in Kings Cross where there is always something happening, I know this because I live in the area and I think Kazbah brings a welcome up market dining experience.

Kazbah is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kazbah Souk also features Kazbah Bakery which create traditional and modern bread and pastries daily.

Owners, Zahi and Penny Azzi’s Lebanese and Turkish/Greek heritage reflect in the menu which fuses Middle Eastern, Turkish, Persian, Mediterranean and Moroccan/North African traditional dishes with French haute cuisine techniques and Modern Australian ingredients.

The food on the night was plentiful and delicious and of course Martini’s and sparking wine always go down well!

The bar in the back particularly caught my interest which hosts five enormous photographs that Kazbah purchased from National Geographic. I’ve posted one of the photos I took here.

Kazbah Souk is also great for Group functions and private parties in the exclusive lounge bar. For parties of 10 to 100 and more.

Kazbah Group restaurants: multi-award winning, offering Sydney’s best Middle Eastern food with fast, friendly service since 1998.

Disclaimer: I was a guest of the official launch.
