The Wintergarden Sydney: Bringing Great Food & Services to the Financial District

Have you checked out the Wintergarden yet?

Wintergarden a food-court and shopping centre in Sydney’s CBD is located at 1 O’Connell Street. This green and spacious refuge not only offers the city’s tastiest treats, but services and retailers to save you rushing up to mid-city in your lunchtime.

I love nature and I especially get excited when nature becomes part of the urban layout. The Wintergarden is full of greenery, great food and convenience.

The Wintergarden houses nine food tenants, serving everything from sushi to slow-cooked lamb, as well a few other residents designed to make your life easier.

Also available is a dry cleaner, and shoe repairer, a newsagent and a barber.

When I attended the launch I was amazed at the lineup of people at Chur Express, and see for yourself why their burgers are consistently voted one of Sydney’s best. Chur Express sold over a massive 350 burgers on their first day of trading recently! That’s incredible!

Or you could try a laksa from CBD Noodles – its co-proprietor Seong was the first man to bring this town’s favourite soup to Sydney over 30 years ago!

Japanese cuisine masters Sushi Hub bring you the freshest in traditional sashimi and salads, bento boxes, maki rolls, Nigiri and soup.

Top Juice provide; made-to-order green drinks, nutritional juices, smoothies and protein shakes. Indulgent yoghurt and chocolate dipped strawberries are also available for the almost-guilt-free treat!

Los Vida offers the best of fresh and authentic Mexican food.

Crema at the Garden will satisfy that coffee fix and they also have sweet and savoury treats to enjoy.

Named after the oldest thoroughfare on Manhattan Island that connected the farmlands to the heart of the city, Bowery Lane follows suit by offering homely, seasonal food amidst a New York style cocktail bar and diner.

Artisan bread-makers Sonoma supply Soul Origin with their delicious baguettes. Or grab one of their fresh crunchy salads for a healthy lunch that will see you energised right through the 3pm sleep-zone!

The Wintergarden Deli offers wild salads and rustic frittatas. Not to mention their famous Nutella frappe. I recommend you give this one a go; I surprised myself that I actually liked it.

The atrium is a peaceful and gorgeous place to enjoy a coffee or lunch.
