Japanese Noh Masks Exhibition Sydney

The Japan Foundation, Sydney will host an exhibition of Japanese Noh masks by master craftsman Kitazawa Hideta from September 16—30. Titled Shadow & Light—The Craft of Noh Mask Carving, the exhibition will also showcase photographs of the Noh masks in action and a selection of Kitazawa’s carving tools. Kitazawa will hold a special mask-carving demonstration on September 17.

Held at the Japanese Foundation Gallery (bookings essential for mask demonstration), admission free.
