Things to do in Sydney

By Deb Carr

VIVO Cafe owners, dynamic brother & sister duo Con and Angela Vithoulkas have just launched Italian style Happy Hour on Friday 14th November at their Sydney CBD location, George & King Streets Sydney. So "Yours Truly" went down to check it out and take a few pics.

First things first, a $10 cocktail is in order, “that will be a Negroni, thank you”…which was delicious. The fun part about these evenings is the food is free! What I like about that is that patrons will be nibbling all night and as we all know empty stomachs and too much drinking is a recipe for disaster, so well done Angela and Con.

Vivo Italian Night

The food is buffet style and very tasty. In fact, I had enough to do me for dinner!

The Italian Happy Hour starts at 4pm, and VIVO Cafe will be serving cocktails such as Spritz Aperol, Martini Juice, Americano and VIVO's favourite - Negroni during this entertaining happy hour. Oh and when we say happy hour that is actually from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

Vivo Cafe

This is a unique style of Happy Hour not usually experienced in Sydney City! Come down and enjoy L'aperitiVO on Fridays, sip a Marini Bianco, feast on delicious antipasti and listen to some cool Italian tunes!

I can see this becoming one of those very popular things to do in Sydney on a Friday night!
