Sydney Chic chats to Troy Pes founder of Men's Fashion Label DAZDAT
WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I worked in the TV industry since I was a little kid. I starred in several Latin American soap operas and television series. I moved to Australia in 2009, looking for a change in my lifestyle, and I have been chasing my dreams in Australia ever since.
HOW DID YOU GROW SUCH A HUGE INSTAGRAM FOLLOWING?
It is something that comes organically and the growth will always depend on what kind of Instagram account one wishes to have. I use my personal account to tell my every day story through images. I try to give the photos my own creative twist too. I am a creative person, so I am always looking for new places where I can have a photo taken. And of course, being shirtless seems to help too.
WHAT IS DAZDAT?
DAZDAT is a cluster of my ideas, put together to create designs. It is my platform to share my concepts, designs and inspirations.
WHO DESIGNS THE CLOTHING?
Myself.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO CREATE THE BRAND?
I love fashion and I love arts and I believe that by mixing those 2 factors you can get something fantastic.
WHAT ARE YOUR FIVE TIPS FOR A GUY TO LOOK SEXY?
All of us perceive sexy to be something different. It is more about finding your own style, embracing it and being confident. Confidence and self respect are probably the most important intangible aspects of being sexy. The more you embrace who you are, the more people will like you for that.
