The Championships 2016, Royal Randwick In what’s tipped to be the biggest Sydney Autumn Carnival yet, the city’s hottest gourmet trackside precinct, Little Sydney, is returning to Royal Randwick on 9 April featuring three of Sydney’s most iconic restaurants; China Doll, CHISWICK and Icebergs, providing fine food lovers a day of unforgettable entertainment.

Set within the Rose Garden Lawn, Little Sydney overlooks the spectacular Theatre of the Horse providing uninterrupted views of the horses as they parade ahead of their races. Little Sydneyites can enjoy the convenience of large screens and all the betting facilities from the marquees, plus the option of access to the trackside lawns to watch the racing action live. Little Sydney will be spectacularly styled comparable to the glamour of The Championships, complementing a day of spectacular food, world-class racing and sensational entertainment.


In addition, premium beverages will accompany this palatable experience as Icebergs takes over the central area of Little Sydney, offering to the mix their signature cocktails. James Boags will also be quenching the thirst of racegoers at the James Boags Premium viewing deck.

The racing series will also feature a host of on-course entertainment including a FREE live musical act by international recording artist Ronan Keating on The Championships Day 1, the coveted Myer Fashions on the Field competition, Longines Award for Elegance and pop up bars by Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot.
