Sydney’s much-loved Pyrmont Festival is set to return to Pirrama Park on 23 and 24 May 2026, bringing together some of New South Wales’ best wineries, distilleries, breweries and food vendors for a vibrant weekend on the harbour.

Now in its 14th year, the free-entry festival has become a popular event for Sydneysiders looking to discover regional flavours without leaving the city. Set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour, Pyrmont Festival combines wine tasting, artisan food, live music and local makers in a relaxed waterfront setting.

Pyrmont Festival Food and Drinks

More than 25 wineries, breweries and distilleries from across NSW are expected to take part this year, showcasing everything from Hunter Valley wines to craft spirits and boutique brews. Festivalgoers will be able to sample wines from regions including Orange, Mudgee, the South Coast and the Hunter, while also meeting many of the makers behind the labels.

Alongside the drinks offering, the festival’s food line-up looks equally tempting. Visitors can expect gourmet street food and market-style dining with vendors serving paella, handmade gnocchi, wagyu, dumplings, fried chicken, souvlaki and woodfired pizza. Returning favourites including The Famous Berry Donut Van are also set to draw crowds across the weekend.

Beyond the food and wine, Pyrmont Festival also embraces art, live entertainment and family-friendly experiences. Two live music stages will host performances throughout the event, while visitors can explore art displays, workshops and handcrafted products from local producers.

Families at Pyrmont Festival

Families are well catered for with a dedicated kids’ zone featuring face painting, outdoor games and mini golf, while the festival’s dog-friendly atmosphere means four-legged visitors are welcome too.

For those looking to shop while they wander, artisan stalls will feature locally made products ranging from chocolates and preserves to candles, leather goods and handmade homewares.

Held at Pirrama Park on the Pyrmont waterfront, the event has built a strong reputation for blending Sydney’s harbourside lifestyle with the flavours and creativity of regional NSW. With free entry and an easy city location, it’s one of the standout food and wine events on Sydney’s autumn calendar.
