Sydney’s dining scene is about to welcome one of the most exciting names in global gastronomy, as Gaggan Anand brings his boundary-pushing culinary experience to Crown Sydney for a strictly limited series this autumn.

Widely recognised as the visionary behind Bangkok’s celebrated Gaggan, recently ranked number one in Asia and among the world’s top ten restaurants, Anand has built a reputation for redefining modern Indian cuisine. His approach goes far beyond traditional fine dining, blending bold flavours with theatrical presentation and immersive storytelling.

Crown Sydney Hosts Exclusive 12-Course Degustation

From 28 April to 3 May, Crown Sydney will host an exclusive 12-course degustation that showcases Anand’s signature creativity, paired with a glass of Dom Pérignon. Expect an experience that leans into drama and innovation, where each dish is designed to engage the senses as much as the palate. For those seeking a daytime indulgence, a progressive Indian lunch series will run from 1 to 3 May, offering a more relaxed yet equally refined way to experience his cuisine.

Throughout May, the influence of Anand will extend to the iconic Cirq, where he will curate a bespoke bar and snack menu, bringing his distinctive flair to one of Sydney’s most glamorous rooftop settings.

And to make it a memorable experience book a room at Crown Towers Sydney.

Following his Sydney residency, Anand will take his talents to Crown Melbourne on 6 May for a dynamic collaboration with Marmont. This three-day series promises a high-energy fusion of fine dining and nightlife, featuring an eight-course menu of his most iconic creations, set against a vibrant soundtrack and immersive atmosphere.

Anand’s journey to global acclaim is as compelling as his cuisine. Born in Kolkata and largely self-taught, he rose through the ranks of Indian hotel kitchens to become one of the world’s most influential chefs, known for transforming dining into a multi-sensory experience.

With limited tickets and significant international interest, this series is set to be one of Sydney’s most talked-about culinary events of the season—an unmissable moment for food lovers seeking something truly extraordinary.
