Timberlina & Friends

Sydney theatre reviews

Producer: Timberlina

Choreographer: Foxxe Faux

Hello Darling, Darling Quarter

Reviewed by Ron Lee, CSP

Timberlina & Friends is a drag cabaret at the Hello Darling tent in Darling Harbour. There's no lip-syncing to Shirley Bassey, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand or Whitney Houston.

Instead we have La Vie En Rose, It's a Hard Knock Life from Annie, songs from Chicago the musical, True Colours, Barbie, Everybody's Free and Milkshake, and each song means something to the performers who bring their own distinctive personalities.

The substantial stage presence of Timberlina belies her amazing flexibility and her front splits are impressive. Abork didn't start until 2018 and has been tearing up the drag scene ever since. Timberlina & Friends is a lot of interactive fun, and see Decadence & Debauchery while you’re at Hello Darling.
