Some lunches are memorable for the company, others for the food. At Totti’s Bondi, it’s both.
Today Sean, Em, Andrew and I settled in for a long, leisurely Italian lunch in Totti’s light-filled courtyard, surrounded by olive trees and that unmistakable Bondi hum. The kind of place where you arrive hungry, order generously, and let the afternoon unfold.
The table filled quickly, starting with the much-loved wood-fired bread—warm, salty and impossible to stop tearing into. Burrata followed, along with prosciutto, olives, tomatoes and beautifully soft artichokes, packed with flavour and clearly given the time they deserve.
Starters at Totti's Bondi
From there, the menu leaned into sharing, just as it’s intended to. Kingfish crudo was fresh and delicate, the ’nduja brought a gentle heat, and the pasta was the real standout—perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The lamb ragù and crab reginette both delivered, rich without being heavy.

Mains at Totti's Bondi
Mains continued the theme. Half smoked chicken, lamb backstrap and white beans arrived well-timed and beautifully cooked, proving Totti’s balance between casual and polished is no accident.
Dessert at Totti's Bondi
Dessert was non-negotiable. Chocolate torta and panna cotta rounded things out on a high note, with the torta getting a special mention—rich, indulgent and exactly what you want at the end of a long Italian lunch.

Peroni on tap, warm and attentive service, and a relaxed courtyard setting brought everything together. The consensus from the table was unanimous: faultless food, excellent service and a genuinely enjoyable dining experience.
Totti’s Bondi is the kind of place that reminds you why good food shared with the right people never goes out of style.
Totti's Bondi is a popular restaurant so you will need to book in advance.
