Circle of Friends & A Greenhouse Cafe

by Deb Carr

A number of hours drive north of Sydney is a little town called Nabiac. It's a great rest area for anyone travelling from/to Queensland or Northern NSW. My parents and one of my daughter's live in this village so I'm a bit of a regular there myself.

There are two places that are a must visit. Firstly, stop in and say hi to Ken and Jason who own the Greenhouse Cafe. The Greenhouse cafe has great food and friendly staff. You will also find a range of goodies for sale too from artwork imported from Bali, Garden Ornaments, bracelets and much more. Visit www.greenhousecafe.com.au

Right next door is one of the best gift shops I've ever come across, also owned by Ken & Jason called The Circle of Friends, there is another store in Gloucester too if you decide to take the scenic route back to Newcastle.

The Circle of Friends is jam-packed with great gifts, everything from handbags, ornaments, soaps, candles, jewellery, clothes and the best thing is the prices are very reasonable. I've attached a pic in this post of some of the items. All items are grouped in colours and I could literally spend hours there if I had the time. I actually did the majority of my Christmas shopping there this year and purchased some great presents.

Nabiac is definitely worth a stopover for travellers coming to Sydney from the North.
