Vivid is one of Sydney's most spectacular events and it's starting on the 22nd May. Sydney is about to sparkle, shimmer and shine when the lights switch on for the 18 night festival from 22nd May to 8 June. For things to do in Sydney you can't beat Vivid.

Vivid is much more than spectacular lighting; it also boasts 70 music performances and 150 ideas events spread from Circular Quay to Walsh Bay as well as Martin Place, Pyrmont, Central Park, Darling Harbour, the University of Sydney and stretching out to Chatswood.

The Sydney Harbour will illuminate including a fleet of ferries, jet boats & harbour cruise vessels that will light up in changing colours as they cruise.

Enchanted Sydney; featuring the oldest sandstone buildings including Customs House with fluttering butterflies and soft mossy flora.

Martin Place is holding 'a game of drones'.

Darling Harbour hosts the Vivid Laser-Fountain Water Theatre featuring dynamic jets and spirals of water all to a soundtrack from Sydney electronic music gurus, the Presets.

Chatswood and Central Park will also have light installations and much more.

Plan your trip at www.vividsydney.com/transport, leave the car at home and catch public

transport to and from the event.
