Vote for your favourite to win a trip to Scotland

For the first time, Australian residents were given the opportunity to submit artwork (print, photography, animation, performance and installation) for the Glenfiddich Artists in Residence contest.

The competition will grant one lucky Australian artist the opportunity to live and work for three months at the Glenfiddich distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. The finalists’ artwork will be judged by Glenfiddich Artist in Residence curator Andy Fairgrieve and the Sydney Contemporary 2015 Australasia’s International Art Fair Advisory Council, including legendary actress Rachel Griffiths, former Lord Mayor Lucy Turnbull AO, Sue Kato, Mark Hughes, Nick Tobias, Dr Gene Sherman and Evan Williams.

The Glenfiddich pop-up bar displaying the artwork of the finalists will feature at the Sydney Contemporary 2015 Australasia’s International Art Fair.

Guests attending the Glenfiddich bar can join the Glenfiddich Explorers Program and vote for their favourite piece of art.

By voting, Glenfiddich Explorers will go into running to win a trip for two to the Glenfiddich distillery in Dufftown, Scotland in 2016.

WHEN:

September 10-13, 2015

WHERE:

Carriageworks 245 Wilson Street Eveleigh
