Well Sydney it seems that the heat is only intensifying and the endless summer parties keep on going. With that in mind we wanted to talk summer styling, specifically how to stay looking "cool" when the temperatures are soaring.

In this weather we want to see you having fun with your pieces. Think of how to transcend easily between beach and bar, and even how to come from work and head straight to an evening on the harbour with friends. Mixing something practical lets you take a refreshing dip in a pool or the ocean if the opportunity provides, and then look stylish at the same time with pieces that you can take on and off without any hassle or need for a change room.

CAMILLA

For the girls of course we're thinking Camilla but let's glam it up. There are so many options now for these Mediterranean inspired free flowing kaftans or maxis, but remember your shape. Use a beautiful belt or tie to remind everyone you have a figure under there with the gorgeous silhouette of a beautiful swim piece.

Beach Bag

Take a light bag with you like the one above with your favourite perfume, a fabulous pair of Dita sunglasses and a stylish towel. Equally keep the shoes practical but remember a heel ladies - it doesn't have to be huge but we do want to lift you off the ground a little while you're poolside to accentuate the beauty of the free flowing Aphrodite styling - lift, lift, lift we say! You'll thank us in the end when you see the photos from your friends splashed all over social media the day after.

Dita eyewear

For the hair tie it up in a loose disheveled bun (image) looking all summer Cafe del mar esque or go with a Kate Moss inspired beach chic look using the Loreal Techni Art Beach Waves Texturising spray that will give you a look of a beach goddess for hours - for more advice or tips on this and how to achieve the look come in and visit the team at one of my salons, Franck Provost Double Bay and Paddington.

For the guys; I've just done a specific beach 2 bar piece on StyleGuy.tv for guys and it’s really cool. Check it out!

In the meantime enjoy the lime infused Margaritas and the Coronas as you relish what its like to be truly Chic in this stunning city of Sydney!
