I had the pleasure of chatting with Andrew Farriss today about a number of things including the of the second single from his forthcoming debut solo self-titled country album, which will be released in May. The single, Good Momma Bad, was released on January 17 as Andrew headed to the Tamworth Country Music Festival for the week.

As well, we talked about him being appointed a Member Of The Order Of Australia (AM) for his significant service to the performing arts as a musician, composer and producer in the Australia Day Honours. This includes 12 studio albums with INXS and 62 singles, collaborations with artists including Jenny Morris, Tania Kernaghan and Yothu Yindi to name a few, and his recent solo works.
