Nambucca Valley Train Carriages B&B Mid North Coast NSW

I recently took a trip up to The Nambucca Valley Train Carriages, located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, not far from Nambucca Heads. The carriages were built totally from the ground up in 2019 and replicate the Wisebech and Upwell Tramway vehicle (1888) in Stratford, England, by Great Eastern Railways.
The train carriage offers a one-of-a-kind B&B experience in self-contained private holiday lodging with views of the railway line and the surrounding countryside. As soon as I pulled into the winding drive, I knew I was in for a treat after taking in the scenic route via South West Rocks. Dave, my host, came to welcome me and gave me some tips on what to do in the area.
A Queen Bed, an ensuite bathroom, a kitchen, a small dining table, and a balcony are all included in each carriage. There is plenty of space in the ensuite bathroom, which boasts a spacious shower. The pool in the private residence section is also available to guests.
Dave and Diane, the hosts, offer a complimentary continental breakfast that includes cereal, toast, jam, honey, juice, tea, and coffee. The balcony is ideal for sitting out and eating breakfast and sitting and enjoying a drink in the evening.
There is a small electric cooktop, microwave, and electric BBQ on the balcony for those who want to cook rather than eat out. Guests are requested to clean up after themselves, including the kitchen and bathroom, and wash and put away dishes.
The carriage is 200 metres from the North Coast Railway line, visible from the balcony and windows, and you can hear trains passing by. Aside from the trains, the site is peaceful, picturesque, with the occasional wallaby grazing near the carriages and the sound of birds and cows.
The 300-metre gravel driveway gives access to parking and plenty of area to park a trailer or boat. When entering the drive, take a right because the left leads to a private residence.

The 9-acre property is a great spot to relax while viewing kangaroos and wallabies, bird watching, or taking a walk down to the railway tracks. I wandered on down to the tracks and spotted a wallaby on the way.
