On Thursday, 12 November 2026, the iconic Sydney Showboats paddlewheeler will be transformed into a floating honky-tonk, complete with live country music, line dancing, Southern-inspired food and spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.

Whether you're a country music enthusiast, love a good night out on the harbour or simply fancy trying something different, this three-hour sunset cruise promises plenty of entertainment with a distinctly Southern twist.

A Taste of Tennessee on Sydney Harbour

Country music and Western-inspired fashion have been enjoying a resurgence, with cowboy boots, denim and line dancing finding enthusiastic new audiences across Australia.

Jack's Southern Harbour Hoedown is bringing that enthusiasm to the water, combining the charm of a traditional paddlewheeler with the lively atmosphere of a Southern-style celebration.

Guests will board at King Street Wharf before setting sail for an evening of music, dancing, food and harbour views.

The event celebrates the Australian launch of Jack Daniel's Southern Lemonade and Southern Peach, two new whiskey-based premixed drinks inspired by the flavours of the American South.
