The exhibit will be held from the 3rd-19th of May at the Oxford Street store.

The delicate irony in Victoria’s paintings lie in her approach to the beautiful yet constricted way that we (as humans) allow nature into our lives through controlled means such as gardens, while still retaining a sense of connectedness and concern for the balance of nature in its contact with humankind.

“A good part of my research in Natural History Illustration has been in reading theories about ethics and sustainable development as it has become an increasing source of interest to me, as I (with many others) watch the environment around us undergo radical change,” says Lobregat.

The exhibit will be held at Platform 72 - 72 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst. www.platformstore.com.au
