When you just feel like one glass! Of wine that is!

Recently I attended the launch of the Magnum Lifestyle at the Bitehouse Club Woollahra. As a blogger, I get invited to many events and this one I’ll put down as one of my favourites. We were celebrating the New Magnum and Magnum Lifestyle. What is that you may ask? It’s premium wine equivalent to two bottles in one handy soft pack.

Magnum showcases wines from premium winemakers like Hardy’s, Waipara Hills and Brookland Valley, with grapes sourced from Australia and New Zealand’s premier wine regions. The Magnum is the ideal size for taking to parties or picnics and the good news the wine stays fresh for weeks, not days once opened. I sampled a few of the wines and they were delicious.

So that explains the Magnum now for the Magnum Lifestyle #MagnumAtHome. Magnum’s Brand Ambassador is Sophie The’ a French born stylist who hosted the event for us last night.

Sophie, who has styled The Bitehouse Club showed us around the venue and gave us some tips on interior design. If you have never been to the Bitehouse Club it really is something wonderful that I wish you could experience, and for anyone planning an event, take my word, well worth looking at. Guests enjoyed the wines and discovered a little bit more about them. To our surprise we were all given a small assignment. That was to choose our dinner setting for the large table where we were to sit and enjoy the fabulous food and a winner would be chosen. Now I am known for my competitiveness, I like to win so Arrnott Olssen and I got straight into it. That's Arrnott down the other end of the table on his Instagram and I was seated as you can see at the other 'head' of the table, a place I quickly claimed! Yep, I'm competitive! I'm also a good sport and congratulations Mr Olssen for winning! You deserved it.

ABOUT SOPHIE

Sophie Thé

Born in Lyon France, Sophie sampled the taste for travelling through her parents.

At 21 she moved to London to learn English and stayed there for 5 years. This was just the start of living abroad, Sophie then moved to sunny Australia to escape the chilly climate of London. Not long after she jumped on a super yacht where she would travel the world for 7 years.

"Styling was something i found myself practising instinctively on the yacht, on a daily basis, as a way of relieving the monotony of the stewards work, it became my second nature."

Absolutely sure about her love for interiors Sophie oriented her career to Interior Design before discovering the generosity of Megan Morton who she assisted for 3 years, playing an integral part in the launch of The Studio, The School and The Propery.

Megan gave me the strength and courage to go after my dream of being a freelance stylist.
