Australian Made Cosmetics: Harlotte xxx

I met Michelle Crofts Founder and Director of Harlotte Cosmetics a few weeks ago when bloggers were invited to morning tea and a look at the cosmetics. I must admit I hadn’t heard of Harlotte before so when I had a chance to look at the products I discovered they really are beautiful. At our viewing, Michelle dabbed some foundation on my face, and it immediately made me ‘lift’ I don’t know how else to describe it, and that was verified by my friend, and fellow online publisher, Arrnott Olssen from Rogue Homme who gave me his signature 'hmm hmm' nod of approval.

Michelle kindly gave me a lipstick, foundation and eyeliner to take home and try. I’m here to say this Australian brand will always be stocked in my makeup purse.

The lipstick is really creamy and as I am getting older I’m staying away from the real dark colours and opting for the nudes. The one we chose for my colour was Commando.

I’m big on eyeliner and Harlotte’s is smudge proof! It’s also very easy to apply.

The foundation rocks! I can’t stand the feel of heavy foundation...this one is truly stunning! Again, easy to apply and very natural looking.

BACKGROUND

Harlotte was created by Michelle Crofts, a Sydney based make-up artist who likes the clean luminous look, with nude lips and smoky eyes. Totally my preferred look too. Michelle was not happy with products that were available so she mixed lipsticks and eye shadows to create what she wanted. Eventually, fed up with having to mix her own colours, she created a new brand called Harlotte.

I love these products. Well done Michelle!

Here I am pictured with Michelle wearing the foundation and lipstick.
