KLIM by Michael Klim: The New Skincare Range Designed by Michael

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Michael Klim on a super yacht, as you do! It was at the launch of his new skincare range with a few other media/bloggers and the chance to have a one-on-one chat with the legendary swimmer. KLIM by Michael Klim is an affordable men’s skincare range designed by Michael to help active guys protect and nourish their skin with a no-nonsense skin fitness range.

All the products are full of goodies such as nori, spirulina, brown algae and seaweed extracts, and we all know the benefits of eating seaweed! It’s actually one of my favourite snacks.

I’m totally sold on the fragrance of these products too, especially the products that contain peppermint and rosemary.

Michael personally researched and tested the products himself and ensured that the packaging is 100 percent recyclable. As well, there is no animal testing and the products are all made in Australia.

If you think a brand like this comes with a huge price tag; think again because prices range from $9.95 and are available in Coles, Woolworths, About Life, Thomas Dux and independent pharmacies and health food stores.

I personally tried some of the products that I was sent home with, despite they are designed for men, and here’s what I thought: Face Wash: This is a creamy texture leaving the skin feeling invigorated. The wash contains - spirulina, nori, rosemary and peppermint essential oils, which smell gorgeous. It’s a really nice wash, very fresh.

Face Moisturiser with SPF15: A nice thick moisturiser and again with a fresh smell and feel. This product consists of brown algae, green algae, vitamins A, B & E.

Face Wash + Scrub: I’ve been using it on my hands leaving them feeling very smooth. This product contains nori, spirulina extracts and walnut shell.

Anti-Perspirant Deodorant: A spray-on atomiser and is aluminium free. It has a slight fragrance. I love this product especially as it contains no aluminium.

Body Wash: Contains marine extracts, honey, whey protein, rosemary and mint. This is luxurious, creamy body wash that lathers up nicely. I’m sold on the rosemary and peppermint fragrance.
