The Sense of Smell Has the Power to Evoke Emotion: Try Sydney Fragrances Candles

When I was around 10 years of age, I used to live in Dunedin, New Zealand, and we had two big vacant blocks behind us full of plum trees, cherry trees and Jasmine, Daffodils and Jonquils flowering during the Spring. The smell of the Jasmine and the Jonquils would make me feel very happy, and to this day those two smells bring about a sense of peace and contentment whenever I get to smell these fragrances.

However Jonquils and Jasmine only flower for a short season, so to recreate fragrances like this I burn candles. Candles bring me tranquility not only from their fragrance but from the flickering of the flame that makes me stop to take time out just to gaze and think about nothing for a couple of minutes.

I've come across a range of candles created by Sydney Fragrance that can transport you back to a time where fragrance invoked a sense of peace within you.

The candles are inspired by the unique style of one of the world’s most stunning and eclectic cities, Sydney of course!

These candles showcase Sydney in all her glory, from the burnished beaches and stunning harbour to nature walks and parks, there is even a candle that depicts a uniquely cosmopolitan and urban perspective.

An Australian-owned company, Sydney Fragrance lovingly hand craft its products locally in a custom-designed workshop in the heart of Sydney. Each fragrance is conceived and formulated by world class perfumers ensuring a high-quality and unique candle.

Sydney Fragrance uses only the most premium materials; from the highest quality glassware to premium soy-blended wax and cotton wicks, to create its premium home fragrance collection.

I have just finishing burning the Alpha. Bringing together earthy base notes of cedarwood and amber, razored fresh with a dash of grapefruit, Alpha brings forth classic Australian masculinity: confident, assured and never taking itself too seriously. Burn for grounded intensity. It's been very uplifting having this candle with its beautiful perfume, I especially love the cedarwood as it's one of the most wonderful fragrances in the world as far as I'm concerned.
