Week one: April 30 – May 06
April closed with the energy of the full Moon in Scorpio on the 29th, an intense Moon, which helped you to see things, people and situations for what they are. May 1st, which symbolizes the ancient Celtic fertility festival, is the halfway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice! Shortly after, on the fifth, a trine, favorable aspect between Earth signs helps to ground your energy to regroup and refocus.
Week two: May 07 - 13
Mercury and Pluto square off at the start of this week, and remind you to be upfront and honest with all dealings. Avoid keeping pertinent details hidden from those who need to know. Jupiter and the Sun are opposite brightening the sky on May eighth, with a message to be quietly confident, but not to allow your ego to take over. Sometimes, the less you tell others, the better. By May the 11th, when the Sun and Pluto interact, your dreams can come true and your pockets can be lined with extra cash. Combined Mercury Uranus energy on the 13th can put pressure on you to say what you feel is needed to be said, but remember; actions that follow words count the most. When Mercury moves to Taurus later this same day, things will settle down.
Week three: May 14 - 20
This week, on the 15th, Uranus, the planet of sudden change, will make a move after an eight-year transit in Aries to the sign of Taurus for another seven-to-eight year transit. This Uranus transit highlights science, technology and finance. On the financial side, the markets could very well undergo a change in financial systems and even currency, a change that’s cutting edge, like nothing we have ever seen before. Taurus doesn’t necessarily like change so anything that is adopted under a Taurus vibration is likely to last a while and have a sense of permanency. As Taurus is an earth sign with grounded energy, it could also depict certain changes to the environment in some way.
The Taurus new Moon is also on the 15th, the same day as Uranus makes a move to Taurus and signifies the perfect time to put something new into place. On the 16th, Motivational planet Mars will change signs and make his way to Aquarius, the sign that Uranus rules, so there is even more focus on this dynamic planet. The other occurrence to take into consideration is that Mars, because of a retrograde transit, will stay put in Aquarius for a six month period and will square Uranus a total of three times, making life somewhat unpredictable. The first square between these two planets is this month on May 16th.
May 19th, Venus will enter the sign of Cancer, shining a beautiful light on home, family and money matters. And with the Sun moving to Gemini on the 20th, the order of the day, or let’s say for the next four weeks, is to make sure it is not all about work but to have some fun, too.
Week four: May 21 - 27
As Mercury and Jupiter interact on the 23rd, you want to avoid telling stories, secrets and indulging in gossip. And the Sun Mars interaction can put you in a social scene with opportunities to network later in the day. However, be careful, something said in haste can turn around and have consequences you are not ready to deal with.
On the 25th, a positive interaction between Jupiter and Neptune can open the door to attract abundance into your life in some way. But don’t wear your rose colored glasses. Generally, life has a balance to it, and often to receive something you will need to give something up. Be prepared to compromise, especially as on the next day, the 26th, Venus and Saturn could teach you a life, love or money lesson.
May closure: May 28-31
The month closes with a full Moon in Sagittarius on the 29th, and on the same day Mercury moves to Gemini, one of the signs it rules. A nice light hearted and flirtatious mood to close of the month of May!
MAY 2018 – HOROSCOPES

ARIES
If you’ve been waiting to be rewarded for all your hard work, then this month, your wish could be granted. But be patient, don’t try to force someone’s hand. You will want to be careful that you don’t step on anyone’s toes on your way to the top. The key to your material success now is to believe in yourself and eliminate any thoughts of limitation or unworthiness. A lucky break can come with work but stay positive to see it through; you can’t afford a negative thought to derail your efforts. Work and money are your top priority now, but be open to love, an intellectual connection can become much more than what it is in the beginning.
TAURUS
This is your time to shine! New Moon energy gives you a fresh start in some way. Take advantage of it, and don’t ponder about the whys and why not’s for too long. With Mercury and the Sun in your sign, as well as Uranus moving in mid-month, you are best to work to a plan but make sure you have some flexibility. A strong connection with beneficiary planet Jupiter can have you quietly confident about a love or romantic alliance, but don’t get ahead of yourself. As Venus, your ruler, makes a move to the next sign, love, money and communication are all on your radar an important. Take stock of where you are, what you want and open the door to walk through to a new life that allows you to make your dreams a reality.
GEMINI
The Sun will move to your sign later this month and will cause a whole lot of energy to rise to the surface. Venus will join the Sun towards the end of the month, too, bringing the love and romance vibe closer to you. Mercury, your ruler, moves through three signs and ends up in Gemini at the end of the month. As such, communication will be very important this month, even more so than usual. Your intuition is sharp now so if you feel someone needs a compassionate friend, then reach out to him or her. This is a good time to formalize your thoughts and start to put them into action. Full Moon energy can put tension on your relationship, but remember, when it comes to your choice of intimate partner, it is your life to live. Money matters look favorable, but don’t hand over the pin number to your key card to anyone - look after your own affairs.
CANCER
Social engagements and getting together with friends can lead to much more than what it seems on the surface this month, especially as the new Moon can open up opportunities to connect and network with influential people. A love affair can build out of a friendship, but communication in the way of being upfront and honest is needed to protect your heart. Some things will simply not be within your control now and to get through unscathed, you need to be flexible and prepare to change your schedule, no matter how annoying a change in plans may be. When you can allow yourself to go with the flow you can end up in some interesting places. And with Uranus making a move mid-may, you can meet some interesting people though socializing.
LEO
Your career zone is hot with activity and energy! The new Moon can present opportunities when you least expect them. Pay attention and watch for the signposts of chance meetings and coincidences to lead you in the right direction. A family situation may need your care, however, it could clash with responsibilities at work, so your time management will be important. Work on quality not quantity time to spend with others. A monetary matter could require a renegotiation, and your lucky stars can land you on your feet. But in the process of doing a deal, don’t be quick to look after everyone else. You come first! In love, this is a passionate time for lovers and for singles to meet someone new, but remember to build a strong friendship connection as well.
VIRGO
As planet Uranus makes a move, travel is in the stars, and if you have a chance to mix and mingle with people from different cultures, you can progress in some way. Education is also important now, and the more you can further your knowledge the more in demand you will be. The full Moon can make everything seem intense at home. Be wary of getting involved in a family issue, especially if it does not directly concern you. If it is an old issue you may not get a different result, no matter how much you try to intervene. Be careful not to take your frustrations out of those close to you. It’s good to vent, but not everyone needs to know your business. For love, look for a spiritual connection, a deeper interaction of the heart and soul as well as an easy exchange of communication.
LIBRA
This is a powerful time for Libra, lots of opportunities and options approach for you to work with people. Make sure you surround yourself with the right people. Be cautious with money, and ensure you are aware of what’s listed in the fine print. Other people or businesses can be supportive with financial agreements during this time, or advice and help in some way. Think through what you need to know so you ask all the right questions. Change at home can take place now, but don’t let it interferer with your relationship. And if you are put on the hot seat to talk about something or reveal information, trust your instincts and don’t be bullied into saying anything you are not sure of.
SCORPIO
The Moon, Sun and Mercury all in your love zone focus your attention on relationships - love is definitely on the radar! And with Uranus, the planet of sudden change moving to your love zone this month as well, for a 7-8 year stay, life can become unpredictable. Mars, your co-ruler, will enter your home and family area, and will stay there for six months. During this time, you may feel pressured into making decisions you are not ready for – take your time. Certain planetary aspects can trigger an emotional response to something or someone close. However, if someone has a hidden agenda, you will know it. Connections and your contacts are important, they can open doors for you.
SAGITTARIUS
Your health and wellbeing, as well as your overall beauty and personal presentation, get a shot of power now. Your attraction factor can become even more potent - use it to your advantage! The energy of the full Moon in your sign can be unsettling, but it can also help you come to some decisions, particularly about relationships, in one way or another. Mars moves to your area of communication, beware of being too candid with your opinions of others. Transits with planet Jupiter in the sign before yours, provides you with a chance to come to terms with some inner realizations. Stay true to you with a work situation, but as Uranus moves to your work zone, be prepared to make some compromises to get ahead. This month, if you get organized, anything is possible.
CAPRICORN

As Mars moves to the sign next to yours midmonth, and for a 6-month stay, your self-worth gets a hit of self-confidence. With money, be cautious that you don’t spend impulsively. As Uranus makes a move this month for a 7-8-year transit, a realization with a friend can occur, but it can prove to be advantages in allowing you to see who they are with an opportunity to embrace acceptance. The Sun will move to your area of productivity as well Venus and encourages you to get organized and look fabulous while you do so. Venus will settle in your love one at the end of the month and move a passionate connection to something more serious.
AQUARIUS
As Uranus, your ruler, makes a move to the next sign, a new development at home or with family can be unsettling, but work out better than you think. Money matters can come together now, too, but be careful of listening to advice that may not be accurate. Do you own research to get the facts, especially if advice is coming from people close to you who are necessarily experts in their field. A friend can show their true colors this month, best to know what you are dealing with, but you may not want to show all of your own cards. At work, you can move a mountain of work, but to do so, don’t allow pesky interruptions to become a constant distraction. As the month progresses, romance gets stronger, as does an intellectual connection with someone – get ready for love!
PISCES
Your star shines bright this month! Be prepared to stand up and show the world who you are and what you can do, even if you do need to step out of your comfort zone. The new Moon showers you with inspiration midmonth. And the full Moon can give your workplace a shakeup at the end of the month, but most probably something that is needed and well overdue. So, take it one day at a time and see where the pieces fall. Uranus moves to your area of communication and creative for a 7-8-year stay and indicates that you can take on extra studies during this time to advance your career. Creative concepts are favoured now, too. Your love life can move ahead, especially towards the end of the month when Venus moves to an area of connections and romance in your star-chart. With both love and work, communication is important, but be sure to say how you feel without holding back.
