Decadence & Debauchery

Producer: Jazida

Hello Darling, Darling Quarter

Reviewed by Ron Lee, CSP

Decadence & Debauchery is on at Hello Darling in the Darling Quarter.

It’s been ages since I had seen burlesque, and Jazida has assembled some fine talent. One is an androgynous singer who comes from "The Riff", another sometimes looks like Jessica Rabbit and another could have come from Kabuki.

Each show tours a new cast of internationally acclaimed headlining performers and an eclectic mix of artists sharing vintage striptease, circus, sideshow, fan dancing, live music, comedy and more.

Jazida's pyro act is a highlight. Her use of flash paper, flash foam and fire eating makes for a spectacular finish. There’s not a production that can’t be enhanced by the danger of big flames.

Decadence & Debauchery is a lot of interactive fun, and see Timberlina & Friends while you’re at Hello Darling. It’s a nice double.
