Drink Less Feel Fresh - Do You Want To Cut Back or Quit Alcohol?

Writer: Deb CarrDeb Carr

I don't know about you, but I'm done with alcohol! Well, mostly done, I might have the occasional glass (glass, not glasses) of chardonnay when I'm out, but otherwise, my love affair with the nightly tipple is over.

Drinking is a huge part of Australian culture, and for some of us, the tide is turning. No longer are we willing to be subservient to alcohol, but instead, we are taking control.

For me, flicking off my nightly drinking was something I'd been thinking about for a long time. There were a couple of significant events leading up to me deciding that I'd had enough, but funnily enough, the day I drastically cut back was nothing more than being tired the next day and feeling very out of sorts; I wouldn't even describe it as a hangover, but more fatigue and anxiety. And that was that! It wasn't that hard, especially once I started waking up every day feeling so alive and happy. Anyway, my story for another post; in the article, I would like to introduce you to Tom Cartwright, who started "Drink Less Feel Fresh", helping people to reduce their alcohol content.
