Hotel Review | QT Bondi Beach
It's funky, fabulous and fun!
That's how I describe QT Bondi Beach and it's on 'my favourite places to stay in Sydney list' from this day forward! Situated in Curlewis Street, Bondi Beach, QT Bondi is in the perfect position offering shopping, cafes, boutiques, drinking holes and the beach that makes Sydney famous (apart from the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge of course).
The moment you walk into the hotel you know that there's nothing boring around here! The reception staff are efficient, friendly and make you feel more than welcome. Reception is open 24 hours. The rooms, as you will discover if you read on, are like living in a trendy beach apartment. It is what you would expect when the apartments and studios have the mark of renowned Australian designer, Nic Graham.
The QT Atrium Suites are spacious one bedroom apartments featuring atrium view, kitchenette, small balcony and funky designer furniture. Beach chic! The apartment's King bed is a luxurious comfort zone. There is a kitchenette if you want to prepare a meal and if not, there are so many cafes and restaurants in close proximity you are spoilt for choice. Personally, I recommend going downstairs buying a bottle of bubbles and trying the Miso Glazed Salmon Poke Bowl from Fishbowl that is located below the hotel.
The Atrium Suite boasts separate living area, microwave, washing machine/dryer, mini bar, complimentary coffee pods, T2, wi-fi, movies, flat screen HD TV (x 2), Bluetooth Bose music dock, stunning bathroom with rainforest shower head (or hand held option), Kevin Murphy bathroom amenities and an opening window! There's nothing like being able to get some fresh air into a hotel room!
For the fitness fanatics Beach Fit is one of the coolest gyms I've ever been to, and I admit my daughter, Grace Carr, and her partner, Sean Syddall are both personal trainers there so I might be a bit biased, in saying that though, how many gyms have a roof that opens up and so many adorable puppies waiting patiently as their master does a workout to cuddle? If the gym isn't your thing, then the Bondi to Coogee walk is a must!
Even the TV's are framed!
