If you’ve ever been curious about skydiving but not keen on jumping out of a plane, iFLY Downunder offers a safe, exhilarating alternative right here in Sydney.

Located in Penrith, iFLY is a state-of-the-art indoor skydiving facility where you float on a powerful vertical wind tunnel, guided at all times by a professional instructor. The experience is fully enclosed, highly controlled, and suitable for beginners of all ages — no prior experience required.

After a safety briefing and gearing up, you’ll enter the wind tunnel and experience the sensation of free-fall flight without heights, harnesses, or aircraft involved. Instructors are inside the tunnel with you at all times, adjusting your position and ensuring a smooth, confidence-building experience.

For those wanting to take it a step further, upgrade options such as the High Flight allow you to rise to the top of the tunnel before floating gently back down — a highlight for many first-time flyers.

Why iFLY Downunder is popular

  • Suitable for kids, adults, and older participants

  • Ideal for families, birthdays, groups, and corporate events

  • A genuine skydiving sensation without jumping from a plane

  • One of Sydney’s most unique indoor adventure experiences

Book your iFLY Downunder tickets now and experience the thrill of indoor skydiving—no experience needed, just pure adrenaline from take-off to landing.

A personal note

I’ve done this experience myself — (that's me in the photo above) despite having a lifelong fear of skydiving — and can honestly say it’s far more controlled and reassuring than most people expect. With an instructor right beside you and no sensation of falling, it’s an empowering experience rather than a frightening one, and a memorable way to step just outside your comfort zone.

This video is me and I had no idea what was about to happen!
