Four frogs creperie

Aimez-vous les crêpes? We certainly do so we headed off to the Four Frogs Creperie in Randwick. The venue has that French cafe vibe.

We enjoyed chatting to the chefs and filming them in action on live Insta prior to sitting down and trying to decide on what we were going to eat. One thing we did note is the very friendly service, big smiles everywhere.

Pic from Insta story

Four Frogs are an authentic creperie and they use only the traditional recipes and techniques used by skilled crepiers of Bretagne (the region in France where crepes come from). Four Frogs was formed by four Frenchmen who arrived in Australia, loved everything about this great land except for one thing! They couldn't find authentic french crepes! So they started their own restaurant.

Four Frogs Randwick

Four Frogs are passionate about food, and take great pride in what they create to the extent they even mill their own buckwheat flour! So gluten free is catered for too.

We enjoyed

  • Ham & Swiss cheese galette (savoury crepe)

  • Chicken, Swiss cheese, cherry tomato and basil galette

  • Nutella and strawberry crepe

  • June special: homemade apple and rhubarb compote with crumble and vanilla ice cream which was my favourite (Grace)

Sean loved the honey honey mustard dressing tastes like his grandma used to make. The crepes are light and a great alternative to a sandwich or pizza.

We found the dishes we had delicious with flavours complementing each other.

Four Frogs restaurants are located in Circular Quay, Randwick, Lane Cove and Mosman.
