The PicoSure aesthetic laser uses picosecond technology, whereby ultra-short pulse bursts of energy are projected onto the skin in just trillionths of a second. PicoSure tattoo removal is more effective than existing methods due to its picosecond pulse width, which is 100 times shorter than that of the current nanosecond laser technologies.
Clinical studies show that PicoSure is able to treat darker, multi-coloured and complex tattoos more efficiently, with significant removal in much less time. Typically, existing nanosecond laser methods often require more than fifteen treatments, whereas PicoSure technology boasts considerable improvement in just 2-6 treatments.
