The Vitality Show| A holistic approach to beauty

Vitality Show Sydney

By Deb Carr

Today I took a tour around the Vitality Show in Sydney. Vitality is the ultimate event for the modern Australian woman who has an interest in a holistic experience in beauty, fitness, health and wellbeing. Vitality offers interactive seminars and demonstrations from the industry’s most well respected experts, and visitors will discover new products, fitness trends, and weight loss programs, health foods and beauty regimes throughout the three days, enjoying key features like the ghd styling bar and Dermalogica Treatment Zone.

We had quite a lot to get through in the 90 minutes of the tour. First step was In Essence Aromatherapy. I'm a huge fan of Aromatherapy and really enjoyed stopping by the stand. Of all the exquisite smells of essential oils I still have to say Frankincense always remains my favourite. I am actually typing this post as my new vaporiser is misting a blend called "Motivation"......#BLISS.

Second stop was chocolate! If you have never tried Pana Chocolate you are seriously missing out! Totally divine and it is good for you too! My favourite is the orange, I've always been a fan of orange and chocolate.

Then it was over to Canon where we were given a demonstration of camera use and loaned cameras to use for the tour. Krystal Barter of Pink Hope was there too. We have blogged about Krystal before and it was great to finally meet her in person.

Following our stop at Canon we moved across to Kenwood where we were shown a demonstration on the Blend - X Pro and tasted some homemade hummus plus a couple of smoothies. Blend –X Pro features a 1.6 litre capacity ThermoResist glass goblet, allowing you to blend both hot and cold ingredients such as soups and cocktails.

The show is in actually two halls so there is a lot to look at. Our next stop was across to the other hall and to visit the Nivea team. I also had some fun with this photo that they took of me whilst I was there. Nivea are offering discounted prices at the stand so a good place to go an stock up on some essentials.

Talking about skincare, when we arrived at the Dermalogica display we were shown the treatment rooms and I have booked myself in for a treatment tomorrow. Visitors can relax and rejuvenate at the Dermalogica Treatment Zone with three fantastic MicroZone Treatments on offer at a special rate of $40 (per treatment) just for Vitality visitors.

What is great skin without a good hairstyle? The ghd team showed us their range of products and you can book in for a style at the show.
